Day 12: Test Out New Tactics
Take 20 minutes to test out another form of stress relief - even something as simple as soaking in an essential-oil-infused bath, or going for a walk while listening to music that lifts your mood.
Feeling mildly annoyed can be a daily occurrence - which gives you plenty of opportunity to try this stress-reduction tip: Today, whenever you find yourself getting frustrated, turn your attention to something you're grateful for, whether it's a person, a thing, or an experience. See it in your mind and allow those thankful feelings to float up and relieve the friction.
Today is also a good time to spare a thought for friends you know who may be lonely over the holiday season – give them a call just to let them know someone cares.
And yes, it's weekend - plenty of temptations out there where food is concerned. Now is the time to exercise control and keep the carbs and sugar far away. Weekend is also the best time to do your Intermittent Fasting, as you can wake up a little late or go for a run in the park, and break your fast later in the day.
