Your 28-Day Total Health Plan - Day 6

Day 6: Reward Yourself!

For a healthy reward, visit a spa or massage school for a detox-promoting rubdown such as shiatsu, lymphatic, or Swedish massage. (Patrick, CY and I did ours in JB on our way back to Singapore!) Saunas are also excellent for clearing out toxins, so if you have one in your condo, head for it today!  And, don’t forget to bring along your hair treatment, skin treatment and lather it all on as you sit in the sauna!

"Overbooking yourself is a major stressor," says mind-body expert Kate Hanley, founder of msmindbody.com. Review your schedule for the next week, and eliminate one commitment that you no longer find essential or fulfilling. As for me, I’m spending a week off work just to hang out with my family. (But no worries, I won’t forget to post next week’s plan!)

Clear Your Clutter
Spend 1 to 3 hours tackling problem areas in your home (clothes on the floor, a crowded closet, jammed-up drawers). Give away or donate any items you no longer need or want; send them to Salvation Army to bless others. Moving forward, devote 10 minutes daily to decluttering your living space.

Today's Recipe
Treat yourself to a simple, yet healthylicious Ratatouille which you can prepare in your AirFryer if you have one, or oven.

INGREDIENTS
200g aubergine, cut into 2cm cubes
2 tomatoes, cubed
1 yellow bell pepper, cubed
1 onion, peeled and cubed
1 clove garlic, crushed
2 teaspoons dried Provencal herbs
Freshly ground black pepper
½ teaspoon rock salt
1 tablespoon olive oil

DIRECTIONS
Preheat the AirFryer to 200deg C. Mix the cubed vegetables in a small baking dish, with the garlic, Provencal herbs, salt and pepper to taste. Also spoon in the olive oil. Put the bowl in the basket and cook for 15 minutes.

Perfect to serve with grilled fish or chicken fillet.

Today's Exercise

Again today, double up on your stretching and strength training: Make time for both your Yoga Release and Back Strengthening Exercises. Finish (or start) the day strong with a 25-minute walk.
